What Our Members Are Saying......

All I can say is, “if you’re not a member of the Melville Chamber of Commerce, and you do business with corporate companies here on Long Island, then you need to become a member, it’s that simple”.
It’s not  so much the so called “Route 110 Corridor” which by the way is home to some of the largest both public and privately held corporations, It’s the Chamber themselves.

I have never met a more down to earth group of Board of Directors, Officials, and Staff Members who genuinely care about not only the growth and concerns of our community but each and everyone of their members. They want us (business owners, services providers) to grow and prosper the way Melville is growing.

The Chamber offers monthly networking and a breakfast series to keep us up to date with current events and the direction business is taking on Long Island and in our Community.
I can go on and on, but I wont. Come see for yourself..... There is no Chamber like the Melville Chamber of Commerce!

The Melville Chamber of Commerce is unique in that it focuses on the business’s along the Route 110 Corridor and companies who want to be included in our business community.  Executive Breakfasts provide pertinent information to attendees and Business After Hours provides great venues for professional networking opportunities and relationship building for business growth.  The staff is supportive and assists members in building those business relationships.  If you’re not part of this organization, you’re missing out.

We at 3J's Limousine, as long time members of the Chamber, know its value to the business community. We have always considered it an investment that has more than paid for itself".

Success Story

Just a brief story about my first experience at the Melville Chamber Business Expo.

As this was my first Business Expo, I had doubts about whether I would derive any business from the Expo. To my great delight, I met someone from a recently opened law firm that was looking for a computer  technology company that could provide support when needed and that offered a help desk as this firm was used to from their previous employer. I assured her we could, and that we have several technicians, plus additional regional resources if needed; a US based help desk that would handle the firms calls promptly; and the knowledge they would be dealing with the owner of the company. This Expo was held on a Wednesday and I made an appointment to meet with the law firm the following Tuesday. My technician and I met with them on the Tuesday, performed a business and technical assessment and scheduled a presentation for that Friday. I met with the principals of the firm, presented my plan for becoming their IT department so they could concentrate on their law practice. They signed a contract on the spot for our proactive monitoring and maintenance, help desk and off-site backup and are very happy with our service.

It was well worth the cost of exhibiting at the Business Expo. I encourage all members of the Chamber to participate in the next Expo.
